Guardian Equipment’s new thermostatic mixing valves use a precision wax-filled thermal actuator to precisely blend hot and cold water to the desired tepid temperature. Valves offer the highest flow rates on the market in both normal and bypass mode (i.e. in the event of hot water failure). In the event of a loss of cold water, valves will shut off completely and not allow any flow at all.
G6020 13 Gallon (49 Liter) Capacity
The G6020 is used with eyewash, eye/face wash, dual purpose eyewash/drench hose and drench
hose units. Depending on supply size and pressure, a single thermostatic mixing valve can be used
to supply multiple units. Inlet and outlet connections have ½” NPT female thread.
Valves are furnished with lockable shutoff valves, check valves, stainless steel basket filters, temperature gauge and mounting bracket as standard. Valves are available for pipe mounting or installed in surface or recess mounted cabinets.
G6040 50 Gallon (189 Liter) Capacity
The G6040 is used with emergency shower and emergency eyewash/shower combination stations. Depending on supply size and pressure, a single thermostatic mixing valve can be used to supply multiple units. Inlet connections have 1” NPT female thread and outlet connection has 1-1/4” NPT female thread.
Valves are furnished with lockable shutoff valves, check valves, stainless steel basket filters, temperature gauge and mounting bracket as standard. Valves are available for pipe mounting or installed in surface or recess mounted cabinets.
